The seat recliners in the last 356 C Cars were updated with a smooth outer face. On the inner side gray plastic pieces covered the mechanism. Unfortunately, those covers break and fall off. Now, we have wonderful reproductions of those covers. Attachment is by double-sided tape, not the troublesome studs of the originals. Installed, you'll have the perfect finish to your restored recliners. Locking covers are for the passenger seat.
