Early AM/FM Blaupunkt radios can now be converted to FM stereo. On the outside, your radio will look original but the inside all the old transisters will be replaced with modern electronics with advanced Phased Lock Loop (PLL) circuitry. Benefits are:

• FM stereo, 45 watts/channel/12 volt input or 22 watts/channel if your car remains 6 volt. Stereo is perfect to take advantage of the two speakers in 356s.

• PLL circuitry will give you every station locked on, loud and clear.

• Original push buttons will give you one AM and four FM pre-sets--550 thru 1700 kHz (AM) and 88 thru 108 Mhz (FM). Your dial will remain the same, either US or Euro bands. US Frankfurt models are preferred which will show accurate station locations. Push buttons will still operate the dial indicator arrow as original.

• Original on-off switch operate the same and have additional tone control and speaker balance (settings saved in memory). Original station switch (right hand shaft) will operate manually as before.

• A multi-color LED is hidden behind the dial to indicate AM or FM operation.

• Two input jacks are installed on the left side for your Ipod, etc. marked red and white.

• Original power supply box will house the 6 to 12V converter if the car remains 6 volt; otherwise it is not needed or can remain with anything inside. The radio itself will be running on12 volts.

• Operating instructions included. Face plate, knobs and and shaft hardware can be supplied. We have some radios converted in advance which can be purchased on an exchange basis "like for like. Core deposit is $300 if core is not received in advance.
