At gearbox rebuild time, always check the differential housing for wear and, especially, for a crack at the dowel pin across to the spider gear shaft hole. A crack there can be catastrophic.

Our housing is a Porsche factory piece, a later and stronger design. It's the latest Carerra 2-liter version for 12-bolt ring gears.
