We have a very good headlight seal which seems to fit every time -- not too thick, not too thin.

Tip: before your car is painted and still in primer, insist on the shop fitting up the headlights with the seals. Usually, a fair amount of filler is used around the headlight area and - surprise - the headlights don't fit after the car is painted! Priced individually.
