The Bosch-Porsche distributors were very good when new. But 40+ years and thousands of miles have caused weights to hang, shafts to wobble and cams to wear. Our remanufacturing program brings distributors back to new operation and close to new appearance.

• All units stripped entirely. bad parts are replaced with new and good parts reused.
• Housings cleaned & blasted, painted, new data plate applied. All hardware properly plated.
• Shaft checked, new bushings if necessary, shimmed for proper runout (recorded on data sheet with all units).
• New custom-wound advance springs installed to give original advance curve. Calibrated Sun distributor machine is used to plot curve; actual plot provided with all units.
• Original Bosch points (phenoic block), yellow-wire condenser and dark brown cap are installed.
