This bezel nut fits the original ignition switch on late 356A and all 356B/C models.

Often original bezels have been damaged by tightening with improper tools. Preferred tightening method is to reverse-turn the switch by half a turn, apply the nut and hold it while turning the switch forward to lock the nut in place; final tightening can be don by carefully driving a small punch at an angle in the four holes.
