There is a flexible metal/rubber plate at the end of the steering wheel shaft connected to the steering gearbox. Of so many years, the rubber can deteriorate and you could have total loss of steering. Our kit includes the rubber coupling plus all necessary bolts, hardware, lock plates and ground strap.
