For Conv. D and Roadster models, this 6 mm chrome-plated rod goes from the dashboard up to the windshield frame. It tensions the frame and (hopefully) keeps stress from breaking the fragile windshield glass. The interior rear view mirror clamps to this rod.

For interior mirror, watch for a coming reproduction. Meanwhile, the interior Speedster mirror will do fine. For the mirror, order: NLA 731 005 00.
